Varnasrama College Foundation (VCF) is offering devotees a unique opportunity to fulfill the desire of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

VC Foundation aims to support the development of Daiva Varnasrama Dharma by offering online and on site Vedic education related to the eternal principles and concepts of Sanatana Dharma.

Srila Prabhupada stated that the remaining 50% of his mission was to establish Daiva Varnasrama Dharma, a yet unfulfilled desire even after fifty years of the formation of ISKCON in 1966.

VC Foundation will provide various facilities and incentives from its World Headquarters in Sridham Mayapur, all aimed at fulfilling the Mission and Vision of the great visionary His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.

“In the first phase, devotees should go into the cities and attract the people by establishing temples and distribute Krishna conscious literatures.

Second, as people become devotees, they can be brought to the farm communities where they can live the Krishna conscious lifestyle described in the books, and remain fixed in devotional service without the temptations and material allurements of the cities.

According to Srila Prabhupada’s vision, the modern industrial cities provide an environment which crushes spiritual development. “This town life, industrial life, factory life, is asuric (demoniac) life. It is killing ambition. It is killing civilisation”, he tells devotees.

The city temple can provide a way out of that environment by training devotees and directing them to Krishna conscious farm communities, where they can find wholesome occupations, favourable to spiritual development…

Therefore, in Vrindavan he proposed a Varnasrama College that will teach not only spiritual knowledge, but also practical skills as well”how to give protection to the cows, how to till the field and grow food.”
